- What is a Den Meeting?
- A Den Meeting is a meeting of kids in the same age group. It will have age appropriate activities for your scout. We encourage, and your child will love, for you to particpate with the activity as well.
- What is a Pack Meeting
- A Pack Meeting is a meeting for all Scouts and families in the Pack. In a Pack Meeting, there will either be guest speakers or activities designed to be completed by groups of scouts.
In the past, we have had guests such as police officers, experts in fields such as orinthology, and Scouts from around the world.
- Is Cub Scouts for boys and girls?
- Cub Scouts is for any child in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
- How far away are events?
- We try to stay within one hour of Jackson Park for all events. Preferably, we stay closer. This is especially true at younger ages.
- Do I need to attend meetings with my child?
- Scouts in grades Kindergarten to third grade must have an adult present with them who can assist in helping their scout focus, engage in the activities, and redirect behaviors. 4th and 5th grade scouts may be dropped off once a relationship between the scout and the leaders has been established.
- How much are dues?
- Dues for the year are $125 payable by cash or check. Please see Mr. Daly to discuss payment via CashApp and Venmo. We realize this is an increase; we are including a new Scoutbook for your child's use upon payment of dues.
